Locking the Control Panel
Disenabling operations can prevent erroneous operations or misuse by children.

Door Alarm
If any door is kept opened for 1 minute or more, it is notified with sound or light.
The Refrigerator Compartment, Ice Compartment and Lower Freezer are provided with the door alarm function,
while the Upper Freezer and Vegetable Compartment are not.

● Door alarm is also raised when a door is left open for 30 seconds or more in the energy saving mode. The Display Section starts to
blink after one minute from the opening.
● While the indicator lamp is blinking on the display area, the Control Panel remains inactive upon touching.
Door Alarm and volume adjustment of the operation sound
You can set the sound level of the alarm louder or no alarm sound.

The volume level of the operation sound is changed from " Standard " to " Louder "
or " Sound off " . Repeat the change of settings to set the operation sound you
like (see the table shown below). The sound is set to " Standard " at the time of
purchase.

● It is impossible to adjust the volume level of
either door alarm or operation sound only.
● When the Door Alarm is disabled, characters
on the Control Panel no longer blink.
● Even if the volume level is set to " Sound off " ,
the alarm of the Ice Maker Cleaning will still
sound.
● When connecting/disconnecting the power
plug or after recovering from electric power
failure, it will return to the standard setting
where the Door Alarm sounds.
