The cutting of thin-walled workpieces
(profiles, tubes etc.) requires slow
feeding to avoid excessive wear of
sawblade.
The feed speed is automatically
reduced at the end of the cut, when
the saw arm reaches the table, to
produce a finer cut.
The arm position where the reduction
starts can be adjusted on the cap
screw (A, Fig 17).

7.7 Bow weight adjustment
Bow weight has been set at the
factory and should not need
adjustment.
Adjustment can be made on spring
tension screw (Fig 18).

7.8 Vise adjustment

Use the vise operating handwheel (J,
Fig 2) to open and close the vise for
clamping.
For quick adjustment move the rack
block (B, Fig 19) to the desired
location and engage the rack.

The vice can be adjusted for square
and mitre cuts.
Loosen bolts and move fixed vise jaw
to the desired angle.
Loosen the hex cap bolt (A, Fig 20)
and adjust movable vice jaw parallel
to the fixed jaw.

Always check the vice setup with a
combination square against the blade
and vice.
7.9 Angle adjustment
Disconnect the machine from the
power source.
Pull the handle (A, Fig 21) towards the
front of the saw.

Rotate the upper assembly to the
desired angle and lock again.
Use nut and bolt (B, Fig 22) to adjust
the 90° stop.

Lower the sawarm and check with a
square.

8. Maintenance and inspection

General notes:
Maintenance, cleaning and repair
work may only be carried out after
the machine is protected against
accidental starting by pulling the
mains plug.
Repair and maintenance work on the
electrical system may only be carried
out by a qualified electrician.
Clean the machine regularly.
Only use sharp and properly set saw
blades.
Replace a defective sawblade
immediately.
All protective and safety devises must
be re-attached immediately after
completed cleaning, repair and
maintenance work.
Defective safety devises must be
replaced immediately.
Lubrication
Daily lubricate the vise lead screw and
vise guide ways with grease.
All ball bearings are permanently
lubricated.
Gear Box Oil:
The gearbox oil must be changed after
the first 2 months of operation (after
100 operating hours).
Then change the oil in the gearbox
annually (respectively every 500
operating hours).
Regularly check level of gear box oil.
Place arm in horizontal position and
allow a few minutes so that all oil
drains down.
Correct level is the middle of sight
glass.
