Steering lock

Fuel

The steering lock is located below the bo! om suspension clamp, on the right-
hand side. For correct func" oning, completely turn the handlebars to the right as
far as they will go, insert the key into the slot, turn it an" -clockwise, press and then
turn it clockwise. You can remove the key and the steering will remain locked.
Never leave the key in the locking mechanism. If the steering is turned with the
key in the lock, it could become damaged and break the locking system.
Fuel tank capacity: 2.3 litres
Use unleaded petrol with an octane ra" ng equal to or greater than that shown
in the table.

Petrol is extremely fl ammable and can be explosive under certain condi" ons. Al-
ways switch off the engine and do not smoke. Make sure that the area is ven" lated
and free of fl ammable heat sources or sparks.
Do not mix vegetable and mineral oil. Too much oil can cause excess smoke and
dirt in the spark plugs. Too li! le oil can cause engine damage or premature wear.
