4.3 Dunkeltastung
Befindet sich das Licht-Vorsignal am Mast eines
Licht-Hauptsignals, so wird das Vorsignal abge-
schaltet („dunkelgetastet"), sobald das Hauptsignal
am gleichen Mast „Halt" zeigt. Um diese Funktion
mit der Art. 5220 zu realisieren, ist eine Verbindung
zwischen der „rt"-Buchse (bei Art. 5221, 5222) bzw.
„rt1"-Buchse (bei Art. 5223) des Steuermoduls für
das Hauptsignal und der Dunkeltastungs-Buchse der
Art. 5220 vom Vorsignal am gleichen Mast herzustel-
len (siehe Abb. 4). Wird – bei separat aufgestellten
Vorsignalen – diese Funktion nicht genutzt, so bleibt
die Buchse frei.

4.3 Dark adaption
If a distant signal is connected to the same mast
with a main signal, the distant signal is switched
off (dark adapted) as soon as the main signal at
the same mast shows "stop". To create this func-
tion with item 5220, please connect the "rt"-socket
(with items 5221, 5222) or "rt1"-socket (with item
5223) of the control module for the main signal with
the socket for "dark adaption" of item 5220 control-
ling the distant signal, that is mounted to the same
mast (see fig. 4). If this function is not used with
separate distant signals, the socket remains free.
