emits a beep and the LED (10) flashes in
red to warn the user, as shown in section
SAFETY WARNINGS of this manual, that
the water shall be replaced at least every
three, together with thorough cleaning of
the water tank and the device; after hav-
ing made sure that these operations have
been performed as prescribed in para-
graph SAFETY WARNINGS it is possible
to switch the device on, pressing again the
ON / steam intensity control button (11) for
at least 4-5 seconds, the device shall emit a
beep, the LED (10) shall become green and
the steam, after a few seconds, shall start
flowing through the outlet (5) with preset
intensity at level 3 (the total number of lev-
els is 1 to 4).
5. To further increase the steam outlet inten-
sity, rotate the button (11) clockwise, the
device shall emit a beep and the green LED
(10) shall increase its brightness. To reduce
the steam outlet intensity, rotate the but-
ton (11) counter-clockwise. At each adjust-
ment step the device shall emit a beep and
the brightness of the LED (10) shall increase
or decrease according to the increase or
decrease of the steam outlet intensity.
6. When level 4 (maximum) or level 1 (mini-
mum) are reached and the button (11) is
rotated further in the same direction, no
acoustic signal will be emitted and the LED
(10) brightness shall remain constant.
7. Press again the ON button (11) for approxi-
mately 2 seconds or less to return the device
to standby mode.
8. If during normal operation there is no more
water in the basin (8) and in the water tank
(6), the device returns to standby mode.
9. Before using the humidifier again, clean the
device as shown in paragraph CLEANING
AND MAINTENANCE and repeat the op-
erations shown in paragraphs PRELIMI-
NARY OPERATIONS and STANDBY /
TURNING THE DEVICE ON.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before starting any cleaning /
maintenance operation on the device, make
sure that the power cable plug (12) is discon-
nected from the socket or, if the device is in
operation, switch to standby mode by press-
ing the button (11) for less than 2 seconds
and then disconnect the power cable plug
(12) from the socket.
WARNING: Do not use rigid tools and / or
chemical or abrasive products for cleaning
the atomizing piezoelectric transducer (9), do
not press with your fingers or with rigid tools/
materials on its surfaces as the piezoelectric
transducer may get irremediably damaged.
DAILY CLEANING
WARNING!
In order to reduce the formation of bacteria,
residues and fouling, clean the device daily as
shown hereinafter:
1. Remove the lid with the removable essence
holder (1) by lifting it vertically without tilt-
ing it (Fig. C).
2. Remove the water tank (6) lifting it vertical-
ly (Fig. C), turn it over and remove the tank
plug (15) by unscrewing it
3. Empty the water tank (6) completely, let-
ting out all residual content, clean the in-
ternal part with a sponge and rinse with
abundant water at least 2-3 times.
4. Remove the water level sensor (14) from
the tank (6), rotating it carefully coun-
ter-clockwise and lift it vertically (Fig. G),
then remove the magnetic ring contained
in it (Fig. G) and rinse both components
with abundant water, trying to remove
carefully with a sponge any limescale resi-
dues present on them.
WARNING! the removable magnetic ring is a
small component, keep it out of the reach of
children, risk of ingestion!
5. Release the removable essence holder (4)
from the lid with removable holder (1) by
pressing the clips (3) with your thumb and
index finger (Fig. H), and remove it by lifting
it carefully, then rinse both components
with abundant water.
6. Empty the basin (8), tilting the base as shown
in Fig. B, pouring the water contained in it in
the direction shown by the arrow inside the
