WARRANTY STIGA VILLA
Guarantee period
For consumer use: two years from date of purchase.
For professional use: 300 hours or three months,
whichever comes first.
Extended guarantee
The guarantee period can be extended to a maximum of
3 years from the date of purchase provided that the pre-
scribed Basic Service has been carried out at an author-
ised Stiga Service workshop for the first 3 years. This
must be verified in the Service Book.
Exceptions
The guarantee does not cover damage due to:
- neglect by the user to acquaint himself with accom-
panying documentation
- carelessness
- incorrect and non-permitted use or assembly
- the use of non-genuine spare parts
- the use of accessories not supplied or approved by
Stiga
Neither does the guarantee cover:
- wearing components such as blades, belts, wheels
and cables
- normal wear
- engine and transmission. These are covered by the
appropriate manufacturer's guarantees with sepa-
rate terms and conditions.
The purchaser is covered by the national laws of each
country. The rights to which the purchaser is entitled
with the support of these laws are not restricted by this
guarantee.

SERVICE INTERVALS
Stiga's extended guarantee is only valid if full Basic
Services have been carried out at an authorised Sti-
ga Service workshop within the service intervals as
specified below.
Basic service
Full Basic Service must be carried out at least every 12
months. If the annual number of operating hours ex-
ceeds 100, the Basic Service should instead be carried
out at least every 100 hours.
Intermediate service
An Intermediate Service should be carried out every 50
hours of operation. If there is only a month or so to go
until the 12 month interval when the 50 hours of oper-
ation are reached, a Basic Service is recommended in-
stead.
