6. Before initial use

Remove the body trimmer from the packaging and remove all packaging materials completely.
Check the body trimmer for signs of damage. If the body trimmer is damaged, it must not be
put into operation.

6.1. Charging the battery

Before initial start-up or if the built-in battery is flat, charge up the device as follows:
Firstly, connect the charger (3) to the small plug on the cable of the mains adapter (2) and then
insert the mains adapter (2) into an easily accessible, live power socket. Now place the body
trimmer into the top of the charger (3).
The charging control light (4) flashes red while the body trimmer is charging. If the battery is
fully charged, the charging control light (4) will light up green.
