ENABLE FILTER
ACTIVATE FILTER
This menu allows you to set the menu language and the display
brightness and contrast.
This setting is of fundamental importance for correctly
adjusting the parameters of the machine according to the
country where the machine is used.
The currently selected language is displayed.
The language can be changed with the special
controls.
To set the correct display brightness according to the room
illumination.
To set the correct display contrast according to the room
illumination.
This menu allows setting correct water parameters for coff ee brewing.
To change the machine water hardness setting.
With the "Hardness" function you can adjust your machine
to the level of hardness of the water you use, so that the
machine will request descaling at the right moment.
Measure water hardness as shown on page 12.
To activate/deactivate the warning signal to replace the
water fi lter. By activating this function, the machine notifi es
the user when the water fi lter needs to be replaced.
OFF: Warning disabled.
ON: Warning enabled (this value is automatically set when
the fi lter is activated).
To activate the fi lter after its installation or replacement.
Refer to the relevant section on page 14 to correctly install
and/or replace the fi lter.
