iPod/iPhone playback

Symptom
An iPod or iPhone
is not recognized
by the system.
No sound is heard
during music
playback from an
iPod or iPhone.

both to the USB
and the AUX port
Playback paused
during a call
Solution
Disconnect the cable from the USB port and
reconnect it correctly.
• Check if the device's battery is low. If the
battery is low, the smartphone may not be
recognized.
• Check if the device's firmware is up-to-date.
If not, update the firmware via iTunes and
reconnect the device.
• Reset the device and reconnect it.
Use an Apple-certified cable.
Use the device types and models that can be
played in the system.
When the device is connected to the USB port
and the AUX port simultaneously, the system
defaults to AUX mode. If the AUX cable is
connected to the device, disconnect it.
If you make or receive a call while playing
music from an iPhone, the device pauses
playback. Playback remains paused after you
end the call. Check the playback status on the
device and resume the audio.
