OBH Nordica Bed warmer
This product is equipped with a safety system that within milliseconds cuts the current if
there is short circuit or exceptional high power consumption. If the safety system is activated
it is not possible to use the product due to safety reasons. The heating pad should then be
disposed according to section "Disposal of the appliance".
Use
Check that the switch is in off position (0) and that the switch and it´s socket is connected to
the plug on the underside of the bed warmer. The bed warmer can only be used with switch
supplied 60601. Due to hygienic reasons the bed warmer should only be placed between
the sheet and the mattress. Place the bed warmer on top of the mattress at the foot-end and
not underneath the pillow. Check that the bed warmer is not folded or creased every time
you make the bed or switch bedding.
Connect the plug to the outlet. To reach optimal temperature we recommend that you start
the appliance at least 30 minutes before use.
The switch has 2 temperature settings. Choose temperature, the number illuminates. We
recommend that you start at the highest setting (2) and lower if necessary. If you shall use
the bed warmer during night you should set the switch to setting 1.
0 - Off
1 - Minimum temperature 30ºC (±5ºC)
2 - Maximum temperature 50ºC (±5ºC)
0 = Off
Warning! The bed warmer may not be used by children if the switch is not set by an
adult or the child has been thoroughly instructed how you use the switch. Never let
children use the bed warmer without supervision. Children are not always able to
understand potential risks. Teach children responsible handling of the bed warmer.
Important!
Since the switch gets warm during use it is important that the switch is not covered
or placed under the bed warmer during use.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always remove the switch and cord before cleaning. Remove the socket from the bed warmer
by pressing the clips on either side of the plug. The bed warmer can be hand washed or
machine washed (delicate wash) in 40ºC. The bed warmer should only be washed if it is
particularly dirty and max 2-3 times a year since too many washes can wear out the product.
Small stains and dirt can be washed off with a damp cloth and some mild detergent. Note
that the bed warmer may not be dry cleaned.
