Functional description
FLM-420-I2 Input Interface Modules provide three monitoring functions:
- Monitoring a line with EOL resistor for standby or triggering (interruption/short circuit)
- Monitoring a potential free contact for "open" and "closed" states
- Voltage monitoring between 0 and 30 V DC.
The FLM-420-I2-E type in-built can be flush mounted in standard device boxes in accordance with EN 60670 (e.g. in
standard switching programs); alternatively, it can be installed in the devices (see Figure 8, Page 6 to Figure 10,
Page 7).
Address Setting
Address setting is carried out using the 8 DIP switches and a suitable pointed object (see Figure 1, Page 3 to
Figure 6, Page 5).

0 Loop/stub in LSN improved version mode with automatic addressing
1 - 254 Loop/stub/T-taps in LSN improved version mode with manual addressing
255 = CL Loop/stub in LSN classic mode (address range 127 max.)
