Connecting the gas bottle Attach the pressure regulator to the gas bottle using the large brass nut. Always ensure that the rubber-sealing washer is present in the nut. (NB. This rubber washer is not required for UK-type pressure regulators). Tighten the nut well. Note that the nut has a left-hand thread.

For natural gas to propane: Remove the leave spring from the holes in the air valve. For propane to natural gas: Insert the leave spring delivered along with the equipment above one of two holes in the air valve. Make sure the spring is tightened firmly in place.

Screw the bolts firmly in place and move the plug wire into the fuel igniter. NOTE! Do not tighten the thermocouple very firmly. The appliance will be damaged and unable to function if you tighten it too firmly. Place the rating label (natural gas) over the existing rat- Remove the hose and pressure ing label.
