JBL VLA-C SERIES | USER’S GUIDE 3 - MECHANICAL INFORMATION VLA Compact suspension system and accessories are also in compliance with the ANSI E1.8 - 2012 Section 5.3.4 standard for a minimum safety factor of 5:1. Minimum safety factor requirements are often set by local regulations and the VLA-C Calculator should be used to verify the safety factor for each array configuration. -

- Page 12 JBL VLA-C SERIES | USER’S GUIDE Array Configuration The Array Configuration tab describes the array and provides information about weight factors and center of gravity (CG), along with mechanical validation of the array. The array weight design factor is selectable between 5:1, 7:1, and 10:1. Frame options are selectable. If the array configuration falls outside the load limits of either the speaker cabinets, the speaker interconnect system, or the suspension system, this will be indicated via an error indication.
