properly seated by firmly pressing on the plug. Check the cord for continuity and no
shorts, using an ohmmeter, especially if it is home brewed.
Verify that the Avmap is computing a position fix. The device should have announced
"Ready to Navigate" On the GPS Status page, at least three, preferably four, satellites
should be indicating green.
