Any claim for damages other than to the centrifugal spreader shall be precluded. By deciding for an AMAZONE fertiliser spreader you get access to the “AMAZONE Fertiliser Advisory Service” because we want you to work economically and eco-friendly. The AMAZONE Fertiliser Advisory Service will determine the individual spreading properties of your fertiliser by testing a 3 kg fertiliser sample and give you setting recommendations for your desired working width(s).

General Instructions for avoiding spreading errors Store the fertiliser properly (refer to manufacturer's instructions) Adjust the machine in accordance with the setting charts, the Internet database and observing the recommended instructions in the operator manual. Check the spread rate before starting spreading. Check the adjusted working width (distance between the tramlines) using the mobile test kit (optional equipment) when using unknown types of fertiliser and also for general checking purposes.

Twin disc spreaders Spreading discs With a twin disc spreader from AMAZONE it is possible to spread various working widths with only one set of spreading discs. Refer to the setting chart, the Internet database or the recommended adjustments for information about which spreading disc is required for which working width.
Page 9
Turning the spreading vanes in the direction of rotation (Fig. 1/A) of the spreading discs (to a higher numerical scale value) will increase the working width. Turning them in the opposite direction (Fig. 1/B) will reduce the working width. The shorter spreading vane distributes the fertiliser primarily in the centre of the spread pattern, whereas the longer vane covers the outer area.
Page 10
Almost full fertilisation up to the field edge is achieved, if you may fertilise beyond the field edge, e.g. your own, adjacent fields to be treated identically (except near surface water). In this way any underfertilised edge strips are avoided. Do not reduce the slide position in these cases. You will find the settings for the respective fertilisers in this setting chart.

When carrying out side, boundary or water course spreading 6.4.1 With hydraulic spreading disc drive The adjustment of the spreading disc on the field edge side depends on the working width, the kind of fertiliser, the spreading mode (side, boundary or water course spreading) and the spreading disc. Effect of speed changes: Speed increase: spreading range larger, spread pattern flatter Speed reduction: spreading range smaller, spread pattern steeper...
