Disc Operations
Slow Motion
(DVD/DVD-A/VCD/SVCD)
Slow motion can be activated by pressing
the 4 button. To exit slow motion mode,
press PLAY B.

Press SYSTEM MENU and press 3 4
to select {TOOLBAR} option.

Use the 1 2 3 4 keys on the Remote
Control to navigate in the menu.
Move to {SEARCH} and press 4.
Move to {SLOW} and press 2.
Sound will be muted.

Press 1 2 to select the required speed:
<1/8, <1/4, <1/2 or <1 (backward), or
>1/8, >1/4, >1/2 or >1 (forward).
Select 1 to play the disc at normal
speed again.

To return to normal speed, press PLAY B.
Searching (DVD/DVD-A/VCD/
SVCD/CD/MP3/SACD)
For DVD/DVD-A/VCD/SVCD

Press SYSTEM MENU and press 3 4
to select {TOOLBAR} option.

Move to {FAST} and press 2.
Sound will be muted.

Use 1 2 to select the required speed:
<<4, <<8 or <<32 (backward), or >>4,
>>8 or >>32 (forward).

To return to normal speed, press PLAY B.
You can also hold down T or S
keys for more than two seconds to
activate fast search.
TIPS:
The operating features described here might not be possible for certain discs. Always refer
to the instructions supplied with the discs.

Still Picture and Frame-by-frame
playback (DVD/DVD-A/VCD)
You can activate frame by frame playback
by pressing PAUSE ; or 3 button on
the remote control repeatedly.

Control to navigate in the menu.
Move to {SEARCH} and press 4.
Move to {FRAME BY FRAME} and press 2.
Playback will pause.

Use the cursor keys 1 2 to select the
previous or next picture frame.

To exit frame by frame playback, press
PLAY B.
