The IP Address displayed will be the one that was entered in
Section 3.1. Do not change this value; press Enter to move onto

Enter the gateway IP address and press Enter.
The subnet mask ('netmask') is entered in an unusual fashion. The
prompt asks for the number of bits. For example, 255.255.255.0
corresponds to 8 bits. See the table below for other examples.
