No reaction to the remote
control.
Picture
No video signal on the
display device.
No video/audio signal on
the display device via HDMI
cable.
No high-defi nition video
signal on the TV.

points before requesting service. If the problem remains unsolved,
register your product and get support at www.philips.com/welcome.
• Connect the product to the power outlet.
• Point the remote control at the product.
• Insert the batteries correctly.
• Insert new batteries in the remote control.
• Turn on the TV.
• Set the TV to the correct external input.
• Select the correct video resolution using OUTPUT on the front
panel.

• If the unit is connected to the unauthorised display device with an
HDMI cable, the audio/video signal may not be output.
• Does the disc contain high-defi nition video? High-defi nition video
is not available when the disc does not contain it.
