CD Changer/Recorder Operations

Repeat and Shuffle

You can select and change the various play
modes before or during playback.

Repeat play

Press REPEAT on the remote control
repeatedly to select :
– to repeat playback of the
REP TRACK
current track or program.
– to repeat playback of the current
REP DISC
disc.
– to repeat playback of all available
REP ALL
discs or program.

To resume normal playback, press REPEAT
until the "REPEAT OFF" is displayed.

Random play

Press SHUFFLE on the remote control.

All the available discs (in CD changer and
recorder) or programmed tracks (if program is
active) will be played in random order.

To resume normal playback, press SHUFFLE
again.

Notes:
– During program play or shuffling mode, it is not
possible to repeat playback the current disc only
(Repeat Disc mode).
– Pressing the CD or CDR OPEN•CLOSE button
will cancel all repeat and shuffling modes.

CD text display

This feature allows you to display information
such as album title or track title contained on a
specially encoded CD.
Press CD TEXT (or CD TEXT/EDIT on the
remote control) repeatedly to see the following
information (if available).

During playback

Programming the disc tracks

Programming tracks is possible when playback is
stopped. Up to 99 tracks can be stored in the
memory in any order.

Load the desired disc(s) on the disc tray(s) (refer
to "Loading Discs").

Press PROG to start programming.

Press CD 1•2•3 or CDR to select a disc.

Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select a desired track
or all tracks to program.
If selected "CD ALL", all tracks of the disc will
be programmed.
For MP3-CD only
Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select a desired album
to program. To program a track, press YES and
then adjust JOG CONTROL to select a
desired track from the album.
Note:
– It is not possible to create a program with MP3
tracks from multiple CDs, or combined with normal
audio tracks.
