    Decentralised lift control system The control system bp408 is a decentralised control system. This means the “intelligence” is distributed across the devices connected and no longer at just a centralised location. CANopen lift application profile CiA 417 (www.CANopen- Lift.org) forms the basis for the decentralised lift control system. Communication between individual assemblies of the group of lifts takes place via this application profile that is standard worldwide.
