3. Carefully route the solar panel cable to the light fixture.
Plug the solar panel cable into the connector extending
from the side of the battery case.
IMPORTANT: Turn the ON/OFF switch to the OFF
position and allow the battery to charge with 3 to
7 days of full sunshine before testing.
FINAL ADJUSTMENT
AND START-UP
After 3 to 7 days of charging under full sunshine, it is time
to do final adjustments and start using the light.
ON/OFF Switch:
On the side of the battery case there is a push button
ON and OFF switch.
OFF Position – Used for shipping or extended periods
of non-use. Also used for the initial 3-to-7-day charge
before final adjustment and first use.
ON Position – Used for normal operation of the light. This
light fixture is designed to automatically turn on when the
sensor detects a temperature difference moving across
the front of the motion sensor. Note: Photocell keeps the
light off during daylight hours.
After the initial 3-to-7-day charge, toggle the ON/OFF
switch to the ON position.

Adjusting Lamp Housing:
Aim the lamp to face the area you wish to illuminate.
Walking Test:
The sensor detects "motion" by the movement of heat
(body heat) across the coverage area. However, following
are examples of objects that also produce heat and can
cause the sensor to false trigger:
• Pools of Water
• Dryer Vents
• Heating Vents
Note: The detector is less sensitive to motion directly
towards it and more sensitive to across motion.
