Record Setting; Record Time; Record Mode - Velleman DVR4QAF Manual

In the main menu, select DATE / TIME and press <ENTER>. The screen at the
right appears:
DATE FORMAT: choose between YY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY. (Y=Year, M=Month, D=Day)
DATE: choose between ON or OFF (date will / will not be displayed on the screen) and set the date.
TIME: choose between ON or OFF (time will / will not be displayed on the screen) and set the time
LOCATION: display date & time at: LEFT TOP, RIGHT TOP, LEFT BOTTOM, RIGHT BOTTOM, TOP, BOTTOM
During recording, date and time are also stored. It is therefore important to set the correct date ASAP in order to
facilitate data searching afterwards.
b. RECORD SETTING
In the main menu, select RECORD SETTING and press <ENTER>. The screen at
the right appears:
COMPRESSION: MPEG4
RESOLUTION: 704x240 or 352x240(NTSC) / 704x288 or 352x288 (PAL)
VIDEO MODE: QUAD (4-split screen) or EACH (all channels full screen)
QUALITY: LOW, MIDDLE or HIGH.
FRAME RATE: recording speed (in frames per second)
DISK FULL: OVERWRITE (oldest data is overwritten when HD is full) or STOP (recording is stopped when HD is full)
AUDIO IN: (microphone recording) ON or OFF

RECORD TIME:

TOTAL TIME: According to recording resolution, recording speed and HDD capacity.
REMAINING TIME: According to recording resolution, recording speed and the remaining capacity.
c. RECORD MODE
In the main menu, select RECORD MODE and press <ENTER>. The screen at the
right appears:
POST-ALARM TIME: time the alarm continues after being triggered (0~99 sec.).
