- Page 6 3 Installation Inspection The following items are inside the box: • UPS unit • User Manual • Safety Instructions • USB cable (only for 1000-1500-2000 VA models) Connect to Utility Power Connect AC power cord to utility power. The UPS will start charging the battery. For the best result, charge the battery for 6 hours prior to initial use.
