Installation
Fig. 1b
1. Stand the tripod upright and spread the legs
as far as possible. Note: Leg locks should
automatically lock when tripod legs are posi-
tioned properly (see Fig. 1b & 1c).
2. Select the operating height, adjusting one
leg at a time. To do this, remove the lock-
ing pin, set the leg height, and reinsert the
locking pin (see Fig. 1b & 1d). Note: All
pins must pass completely through both leg
sections.
3. Reposition legs as far apart as possible and
ensure that leg locks are engaged. Adjust
the leg safety chain so that it is taut between
tripod feet (see Fig. 1a & 1e).
NOTE: Leg safety chain must be used to
ensure maximum safety.
4. Before using, check the stability of the tripod.
Make sure that the tripod head is level and
that legs are locked.
WARNING: When leg locks are properly
engaged, it must not be possible
to close the legs of the tripod without
using the locking levers.
Dismantling: To dismantle the tripod, retract
the legs. Then release the leg locks by
squeezing each locking lever toward the
corresponding leg and move the legs inward
(see Fig. 1f).
