Independent and assembled gas valves
Setting the pressure regulator (I)

- Start the burner ensuring that the two-stage thermostat is
«on demand».
- Measure the pressure (test point at the valve inlet) on the
gas valve (E).
- Remove the protective cap (K) on the gas pressure
regulator (I) to gain access to the adjustment screw.
- The adjustment ring (J) on the main gas valve (B) should
be fully towards the + sign.
- Rotating ring (J) clockwise will increase the pressure.
- Rotating ring (J) anti-clockwise will lower the pressure.
- Set the gas pressure regulator to get 20 mbar for G20.
Setting the NOMINAL operating conditions and burner
setting pressure control
- After setting the gas pressure regulator (I), proceed to
adjust the pressure at the injectors (i.e. burner setting
pressure) using the serrated ring (J) on the main gas
valve (B) according to the specified value (see gas
characteristics).
- Measure the burner setting pressure through the test
point on the gas manifold.
- The required pressure will be obtained by turning ring (J)
towards the + or - sign, as the case may be.
Setting the REDUCED operating conditions and burner
setting pressure control
- Lower the two-stage thermostat setting so that only the 1
stage remains «on demand».
- Loosen locking screw (M) one turn.
- Turn the notched ring (N) towards the + or - sign, as
required.
- Adjust the reduced pressure (at the injectors) to match
the specified gas (see gas characteristics).
- Tighten locking screw (M).
4.3 Boiler Start-up

4.4 Gas changeover
Gas changeover operations must be performed by a
J qualified professional.
Boilers are delivered for use with Natural Gas G20 at
20 bar.
In case of changing to Propane Gas, one of the
following kits should be used:

Product Code 141045003
For applications with propane at 37 mbar (see gas
characteristics on page 33), the items listed below should
be replaced or modified:
- Main burner injectors, type 215Y
- Pilot burner injector Ø 0.3
