Electrical connection
The wiring system should comply with local and national
regulations in force. In particular, the electrical connection
of the boiler requires a minimum distance of 3 mm between
contacts.
For full electrical connections, please refer to the
specific instructions that come with the control panel
KSF.
The power supply connecting terminals can be accessed by
removing the back panel cover. They are located in the
bottom right-hand side viewed from the back.
The live lead MUST be wired to the 'L' lug on the
terminal strip.
The line should be rated for 6.3 Amps at 230V, 50Hz + Earth
(check whether the pump(s) rating is compatible). Make the
electrical connection according to the wiring diagram that
comes with the instructions. Provision should be made for
the Earth wire to be 50 mm longer than the Neutral and Live
wires.
The control panel switch does not dispense with the need
for the main On/Off regulatory switch.
The earth connection on the terminal strip must be
wired according to current regulations.
Should there not be enough ionization current due to defective
neutral or earth, it is advisable to add an isolation transformer
for the power circuit, rated for 600VA minimum.
