Fitting or changing a close-up lens

Insert the blade of a small, sharp-tipped, instrument screwdriver into one of
the two recesses on the lens joint line (Refer to Fig. 7). Twist the screwdriver
to open a small gap.
Progressively move and twist the driver tip around the joint line until a small
gap has opened up all around the circumference. It is now possible to pull
and remove the existing lens or window by hand.
Note Avoid touching the lens surfaces. If touched accidentally, clean the
lens with a soft cloth moistened with alcohol.
To fit the new lens assembly, offer it to the front of the camera and align the
two lugs in the lens holder with the two cut-outs in the front of the camera.
Push the lens holder onto the front of the camera and press evenly all around.
The close-up lens holder will snap into position. Rotate the lens holder as
before to adjust the focus.
