NIR Thermal Imager Installation Guide Installing the Thermal Imager If the thermal imager is to be used in conjunction with a protection jacket and air purge, refer to the installation guides provided with those accessories. If the thermal imager is to be installed in a location where the ambient temperature is within the ranges specified for the thermal imager, and no air purging is required to keep the lens clean, the thermal imager can be mounted using the two tapped holes on the mounting pad. -

Installation Guide NIR Thermal Imager Electrical Connections The electrical connections for the thermal imager power supply are made via the 2-way socket on the rear of the thermal imager. See Figs. 5 & 6. Installation Guide NIR Thermal Imager Using the Thermal Imager Insert the LIPS NIR CD into the PC which is connected to the thermal imager. The LIPS NIR program will install automatically. Ensure that the imager is powered up and the Ethernet communications cable is installed correctly between the imager and the PC. -
