its own discretion, to demand a reduction in the purchase price or withdraw
from the purchase if the seller fails to remedy a defect covered by the warranty
within a reasonable period of time. Any damage caused by failure to use the
device in accordance with its intended use is not covered by the warranty. Such
damage is the sole responsibility of the user. The power cable must not be
stretched to a length of over 3 metres. If a greater distance needs to be covered,
an extension cord must be used. Otherwise the cable may break. Furthermore,
we do not warrant for any damage resulting from improper use or failure to
follow the operating instructions. Failure to comply with these instructions will
void the warranty.

10. CUSTOMER SERVICE

The NOVAFON device requires precise adjustment. Consequently, any neces-
sary repairs must be performed exclusively by the NOVAFON Customer Service.
Please do not send in your defective device without first contacting us by tel-
ephone to report the damage and determine the scope of the repair. The repair
might be more expensive than a new device. If, during the warranty period, the
repair of a device proves too costly, NOVAFON will offer a replacement device (to
which a full 24-months' warranty period will apply).
