2. Using the pick or small screwdriver, remove and
discard the clear, protective lens cover.
Note:
The filter disk may inadvertently be removed during the
lens-cover removal. If this happens, install the replace-
ment filter disk (included).
The label adhesive is intentionally very strong. To re-
move residual adhesive, rub very firmly with fingertips.
3. Remove and discard any jumpers from the sockets.
4. Optional: If the replacement lens and label holes are
too small to fit over the small, black plug, it may be
removed until the new lens and label are installed.
Reprogramming
The Charge Station can be powered ON or OFF during
reprogramming.
1. Plug the programmer connector into the Charge
Station with the UP arrow pointing toward the top
of the Charge Station.

Note:
If the connection is unstable, gently hold the connector
in place while completing the firmware update.
2. Press the PROGRAM button on the reprogrammer.
The ERROR light on the reprogrammer will illuminate
solid green for approximately ten seconds and then
begin to flash green. The flashing green ERROR light
indicates that reprogramming is in progress. Once the
ERROR light turns off (approximately 30 seconds),
reprogramming is complete.
3. Unplug the programmer from the Charge Station.
4. Power the Charge Station ON if it was OFF during
reprogramming.
5. Press the RESET button on the Charge Station.
Reassembly
1. Using tweezers or narrow, needle-nose pliers, care-
fully insert the jumper wire between the Pin 2 and
Pin 3 holes.
2. Press in firmly.
3. Install new filter disk if it was removed during prep-
aration.
4. Ensure surface of Charge Station is clean and all
adhesive has been removed.
5. Remove the film from both sides of the new, clear
plastic lens cover and install.
6. Install the new labels.
7. Install the new small, black plug if it was removed
during preparation. A small amount of silicone
adhesive can be used if necessary.
Confirmation Testing
1. Plug the Charge Station into the vehicle.
2. Confirm that vehicle begins charging.
Note:
Verify that the vehicle's charge delay timer is set to OFF
or CHARGE IMMEDIATELY.
3. If the vehicle does not begin charging, contact
Bosch Automotive Service Solutions technical sup-
port at 1-877-805-EVSE (3873).
