Functions and Charging Cell Phones
The two solar panels charge the exchangeable batteries. From these batteries
or from the solar panels alone you can charge or operate many different
devices such as cell pones, CD players, digital cameras or the likes.
1.
First, press the locking button (7) and flip open the solar charger. Set the
charger up in such a way that both solar panels are exposed to direct
sunlight (preferably in a right angle to the sunlight).

There are 2 LEDs on the right side of the unit (seen from the front). The
green LED labelled "Working", signals the intensity of the sunlight by
flashing more intensively. The Batteries are charged slower or faster and
connected devices are supplied with more or fewer power accordingly.

The red LED labelled „Battery Full", lights up when the batteries in the
battery compartment (8) are fully charged. Ni-Cd and Ni-Mh batteries can
be charged in the battery compartment (8) and used with the unit.

Use the included extension cord and adaptor for your cell phone (as
shown on page III). Connect one end to your cell phone and the other to
the battery output (1). The flashing green LED (4) and the charging
control display of your cell phone indicate the charging process.
Please Notice: Do not use the solar output (5) for charging.
Charging and Operating other Electronic Devices
1.
Follow the first three 3 steps as described in "Functions and Charging Cell
Phones".
2.
To operate other 6 V devices, use the universal adapter instead of the cell
phone adapter.
3.
Please observe correct polarity when connecting the device. It is
indicated on the unit

Connect the included extension cord to the Solar- or Battery output
socket.
5.
If the connected device shuts down while connected to the battery output
socket, the batteries may be empty. In this case please recharge the
batteries.
6.
You can also take the batteries out of the battery compartment and use
them to power other devices. When reinserting the batteries please
observe correct polarity (symbols in the battery compartment).
