Lower tape assembly onto base, carefully
engaging recording head pin in hole in draw

Line up tape assembly so all four lugs fall
in base slots.

3/ 4-inch and push record bar leaf spring
back (with 3-1/2 inch screwdriver) about 112-inch.

rest on latch (Fig. 11).
