The 1C1 set can be modified to a 1C2 by

TONE dial-equipped P90E500 cover unit assem-
bly. No wiring changes are necessary. No pro-

vision is made for modifying a 2C1 set to a 2C2.

are shipped wired for prepay service but
can be converted in the field to dial tone first
