bes how to prepare, operate, use, maintain and care for the
product. It is a guideline for users and caregivers to ensure the
safe and risk-free use of the Doris Relax Chair. Please read
this user manual carefully and keep it readily at hand at all
times.
Intended Purpose
The Doris Relax Chair is a therapeutic wheelchair designed
for comfort and relaxation that fulfils a variety of patients'
needs. It can be used for patients with mental or physical dis-
abilities, provides relief for patients suffering from geriatric
infirmity or muscular disorders, helps Parkinson patients re-
lax, calms down Alzheimer patients, helps prevent pressure
ulcers, makes sitting easier for patients with arthritis, gives
peace of mind to people with limited mobility, helps patients
suffering from anxiety or depression to assume an embryonic
posture and gives them a feeling of warmth and emotional
comfort, it is helpful in stroke patients' regeneration process
and protects Chorea Huntington patients suffering from
akathisia.
EMOTIONAL COMFORT: The Doris therapeutic relax chair

which helps patients relax and increases their well-being.

Two different models of the Doris Relax Chair are available:

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Only use the Doris Relax Chair if you can ensure that a trained
assistant or caregiver is present at all times during use.
• Only patients whose body height and physical build enable
them to adopt the seated and lying position in the chair should
use it.
• The Doris Relax Chair is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
• The Doris Relax Chair may only be used or operated by people
who are familiar with the instructions in this manual. Always
ensure that there are no obstacles within the operating range
of the chair such as steps, staircases or objects on the floor,
which could cause the relax chair to tip.
• Do not perform any operations or movements unless you are
absolutely sure of their outcome; if in doubt, contact the next
service point or contact the manufacturer directly. Only
trained staff should provide instructions for using the Doris
Relax Chair. Watch out for potential risks! Use of the Doris
Relax Chair and its accessories require medical supervision.
