Relay Output NO/NC/COM The alarm output can be NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed), depending on the settings in the menu. NO + COM are a normally open circuit. Alarm is triggered when the circuit is closed. NC + COM are a normally closed circuit. Alarm is triggered when the circuit is opened.
6.5 HDD installation Fitting the hard disk 1. Step: Switch off the digital recorder and open the hard-disk slot. 2. Step: Turn the handle carefully to the left and pull the HDD frame carefully out of the slot. (Keys and fitting screws are contained in the HDD frame.) 3.

RECORD DURATION Set here the record duration time when motion is detected. If motion is continuously detected, the duration time is added to the total detection time. For example, the duration is set to 10 seconds and the motion last for 3 minutes, the DVR records for 3 minutes and 10 seconds.

During the remote connection, the DVR keeps recording if the client stays at the LIVE mode. It stops recording when the client enters the playback mode. Triplex Allows recording, remote connection and playback simultaneously. The DVR keeps recording while the DVR enters playback either locally or remotely. Under Triplex mode, you may see the playback is slower than under recording in Duplex mode.

HOLIDAY SETUP The settings of a holiday are the same as the settings for Sunday. Up to 100 days can be set as holiday. Press the MODE button and set the editing mode as EDIT HOLIDAY. Use direction keys to select and press ENTER to mark the day as a holiday. To clear the settings press MODE to set the editing mode to CLEAR ALL DATA or CLEAR MON DATA (clear data month by month).

BURN Press BURN button to start backup. Use a blank CD. Do not format or reuse a CD even though it is rewritable. When choosing a backup size, leave 20MB as a buffer and do not use the full space of a CD.

Question: Is there any chance of viewing recorded data, after the HDD has been cleared? Answer: There is a chance of being able to view the deleted data, but the user will only be able to view, not to save data. Solution: During booting the DVR press and hold “PLAY”.
