Multi matrix correction function
The multi matrix correction function allows you to set the hue
and saturation of a target color together as a preset.
• The PAINT >Multi Matrix >menu item allows you to execute
preset.
Overwrite protection for read-only files
Protects read-only files from being overwritten when they are
saved. When files are saved by the menu items under FILE (listed
below), read-only files are displayed grayed out, and are not
selectable.

ATW Mode
• "ATW Mode" is added to OPERATION >White Setting menu and
you can set the ATW mode.
• Natural: Depending on the brightness of scenes, automatically
adjusts the white balance to natural ambience. (Conventional
ATW)
• Pure: Not leaving the blue color or red color, automatically
adjusts the white balance closer to original colors. (New ATW
function)

Usable media
XQD memory card series added (with XQD ExpressCard Adapter
QDA-EX1)
Restrictions
• For restoration of media recorded with this unit, be sure to use
this unit. Media recorded with a device other than this unit or
with another unit of different version (even of the same model)
may not be restored using this unit.
• High-speed playback may not be properly achieved.
• Slow Motion recording by the Slow & Quick Motion recording
function cannot be made.
• Not all XQD memory cards are guaranteed to work with this
camcorder. For compatible memory cards, contact your Sony
dealer.
Rec Start/Stop Beep function
A beep sound can be generated automatically at start and stop
of recording.
• The MAINTENANCE >Camera Config >Rec Start/Stop Beep
menu item allows you to turn this function On and Off.
Indication of recording status
An animation can be displayed to indicate that recording is being
performed.
• The MAINTENANCE >Camera Config >Rec Status Indicator
menu item allows you to specify the display position of the
recording status indication.
• The OPERATION >Super Impose >Super(Rec Status Indicator)
menu item allows you to select whether or not to superimpose
the recording status indication on the video output.
General files copyable to USB flash drives
It is now possible to copy the files under the General folder to a
USB flash drive.
• The OPERATION >USB >With General Files allows you to select
whether or not to copy the General files as well when Copy All
Clips is executed.
RM-B170
The unit supports the remote control unit RM-B170.

Adaptateur sans fil
Vous pouvez désormais raccorder un adaptateur sans fil
CBK-WA100 (non fourni).
Pour les détails, consultez le manuel d'utilisation fourni avec le
CBK-WA100.
• L'élément de menu MAINTENANCE >Camera Config >SDI
Rec Control vous permet de configurer Parallel Rec pour
l'enregistrement synchronisé.
• L'élément de menu MAINTENANCE >Camera Config >Match
Clip Name vous permet d'activer (On) et de désactiver (Off ) la
fonction de correspondance des noms de plan utilisée pour
l'enregistrement synchronisé.
• L'élément de menu OPERATION >Display On/Off >Wireless
Status vous permet d'activer (On) et de désactiver (Off )
l'affichage d'état du signal pour l'adaptateur sans fil.
• L'élément de menu OPERATION >Display On/Off >Ext Media
Remain vous permet d'activer (On) et de désactiver (Off )
l'affichage de la durée d'enregistrement restante pour la carte
SD insérée dans l'adaptateur sans fil.
• L'élément de menu OPERATION >Display On/Off >Sending Clip
Info vous permet d'activer (On) et de désactiver (Off ) l'affichage
d'état du transfert pour les plans envoyés par le biais de
l'adaptateur sans fil.
Remarques
• Lorsqu'un adaptateur sans fil est raccordé, les fonctions Wi-Fi
de l'adaptateur Wi-Fi CBK-WA01 et du module USB LAN sans fil
IFU-WLM3 ne peuvent pas être utilisées.
• Parallel Rec ne peut pas être configuré pour les modes
d'enregistrements spéciaux. Parallel Rec peut être configuré
pour les formats vidéo suivants.
