Do not use with infants, helpless persons or persons insensitive to heat.

To use the appliance continuously during a long time can cause burns on the skin that
can appear long after.

When not in use, store in the original package in a dry place. When storing the appliance,
allow it to cool down before folding.
10. Never pull or carry the heating plaid in the cord.
11. Do not roll up the cord, and do not place the cord over the heating plaid.
12. Do not put the heating plaid in between the mattress and the edge of the bed.
13. Do not use crumpled, folded or rucked.
14. Avoid creasing the heating plaid by placing items on top of it during storage as
this can destroy the safety system.
15. Do not insert pins or the like in the heating plaid.
16. Examine the plaid frequently/when changing the linen for signs of wear, damage
or dark spots. If such signs are found, the heating plaid must be discarded or
returned to the place of purchase for repair.
17. Regardless of the extent of use the appliance must be discarded and disposed of 10
years after the purchase date for safety reasons due to natural ageing of the appliance
18. Under no circumstances must the regulator and cord be immersed into water or other
liquids.
19. The heating plaid must not be used in sanitary areas.
20. When washing the heating plaid the instruction manual should be observed.
21. Do not use when humid or wet – wait until the heating plaid is completely dry.
22. The plug on the supply cord must be unplugged immediately if
- the heating plaid becomes extremely warm although a low temperature level has been
selected.
- the heating plaid becomes so warm that certain areas become discoloured.
- crackling is heard from the switch, or in the case of visible damages to the switch, the
heating plaid, the plug or the cord.
- the plaid has not become warm/warmer after 10 minutes at maximum temperature.
However, first check at another outlet.
23. The heating plaid must only be used as under plaid.
24. The appliance is for domestic use only.
25. The heating plaid is not intended for use within the field of application of the pharmaceutical
product law; i.e. not for treatment, palliation or prevention of illness, injuries, handicaps,
including especially
- medical treatment in hospitals, nursing homes or other institutions
-medical treatment within professional or commercial nursing
26. Under no circumstances should attempts be made to repair the plaid since it involves
high safety risk. Without special tools it is not possible to restore the safety of the parts.
27. Always examine appliance, cord and plug for damage before use. If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, or his service agent or a similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
28. The electrical installation must comply with the present legislation concerning additional
protection in the form of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30 mA). Check with your installer.
29. If the appliance is used for other purposes than intended, or is it not handled in
accordance with the instruction manual, the full responsibility for any consequences will
rest with the user. Any damages to the product or other things are not covered by the
warranty.
