DESCRIPTION

The Omnistat2 Wireless ZigBee thermostats offer all the features of the standard Omnistat2 thermostats, plus uses ZigBee wireless to communication with the Leviton controller and
other devices on the ZigBee network.

HOME SCREEN

The Home screen now has a signal strength indicator that indicates the signal strength between the Omnistat2 thermostat and the ZigBee Interface Module (ZIM). When the
Omnistat2 is enrolled in the ZigBee network and if it is able to communicate with the ZIM, the bars on the indicator will be illuminated, according to the signal strength. However, if
the Omnistat2 is not enrolled in the ZigBee network or if it is unable to communicate with the ZIM, the bars will appear as four dots.

ZIGBEE SETUP

Enrolling an Omnistat2 to ZigBee Network

Each Omnistat2 Wireless ZigBee thermostat must be individually enrolled. To start the enrollment process on an Omnistat2:
From the Home screen on the Omnistat2, press the Scroll Wheel.
Turn the Scroll Wheel to highlight "Setup".
Select "Setup" by pressing the Scroll Wheel.
Turn the Scroll Wheel to highlight "Installation Settings".
Select "Installation Settings" by pressing the Scroll Wheel.
Acknowledge the Warning by pressing the Scroll Wheel.
Turn the Scroll Wheel to highlight "ZigBee Network".
Select "ZigBee Network" by pressing the Scroll Wheel.
Press the "Enroll" button to begin the enrollment process.
Enroll the device using the ZigBee Interface Module (ZIM).

• Never install communications wiring or components during a lightning storm.
• Never install communications components in wet locations unless the
components are designed specifically for use in wet locations.
• Never touch uninsulated wires or terminals unless the wiring has been
disconnected at the network interface.
• Use caution when installing or modifying communications wiring or
components.
