Timing / RPM
The ESC sets the timing of the motor to the
optimal motor efficiency level. Here the Timing
can be modified.
RPM Control
Switches the RPM Control of the ESC on or off.
RPM – Start Up Time
Sets the start up time of the motor at activated
RPM control in the range of 6-12 seconds.
Stick Positions
Allows switching between auto programming
mode (APM) or fixed stick positions. For
programming stick positions a ready to use
receiver has to be connected to the PROGDISC.
Additionally, the corresponding sender has to be
switched on. Entering fixed stick positions leads
to the following submenus:
Set Motor Off Position
Defines the stick postition for motor off. For
adjusting set stick to desired position and
enter.
Set Full Throttle Position
Defines the stick postition for full throttle.
For adjusting set stick to desired position
and enter.
Set Brake Position
Defines the stick postition for brake. For
adjusting set stick to desired position and
enter.
Reset
Resets all parameters to default.

Configuration options in
PROGCARD II mode
BEC Voltage
Allows setting the BEC output voltage. The
output voltage of JIVE ESCs can be adjusted
between 5 V to 6 V in 0.2 V steps. Default value
is 5.6 V.
Brake strength
Allows the rough and fine setting of the brake
strength. Rough adjustments can be made in
10% steps, After confirming the desired rough
strength you automatically arrive at the fine
tuning menu. Fine tuning is possible in 2.5%
steps from 0-7.5%. The exemplary change of a
brake strenght from 17.5% to 22.5% can made
as shown below. An asterisk marks the current
setting.
RPM control
RPM control is very complex and influenced by
different factors. Here, three of these factors can
be modified.
Smoothing
The smoothing of the control curve can be
increased or allayed.
I-Part
The integrale part of the curve can be
strengthened or allayed.
P-Part
The proportional part of the curve can be
strengthened or allayed.
