Oil change

• Perform the first engine oil
change after about 20 operating
hours, then every 50 operating
hours or annually.
• Change the engine oil when the
petrol tank is empty and the en-
gine is warm.
• Dispose of the used oil in an
environmentally-responsible way
(see „Disposal/Environmental
Protection")
1. Disconnect the spark plug
connector (
2. Place the power generator on a
suitable base at a slight inclinati-
on to the oil drain screw (10).
3. Open the oil tank cap with dip-
stick (9).
4. Open the oil drain screw (10)
and drain the old engine oil into
a collection container.
5. After the old oil has drained out,
close the oil drain screw (10)
and set the power generator up-
right again.
6. Fill engine oil as far as the upper
marking of the oil dipstick (ap-
prox. 0.6 l).

Oil low safety device

The power generator has an oil low safety

The engine cannot be started in this case
or switches off automatically after a short

Starting is possible after replenishing with
engine oil (see Chapter "Checking the oil
