5. Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked before turning
the device on.
6. Set the temperature adjustment lever to I, II or III.
7. Press the On/Off switch.

AFTER USE

COOLING
1. Before switching off the tool, it must be cooled first. Select
temperature setting I for at least one minute before switching
off.
2. Place the tool on its stand (10) after use and allow it to cool
down before storage.
CAUTION!
Make sure that the device has completely cooled down before
storing.
CLEANING
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent
overheating of the engine. Regularly clean the machine
housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep
the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does
not come off use a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water,
etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.

MAINTENANCE

After use, check the tool to make sure that it is in top
condition. It is recommended that you take this tool to a
RYOBI Authorized Service Center for a thorough cleaning
and lubrication at least once a year.
DO NOT MAKE ANY ADJUSTMENTS WHILE THE
MOTOR IS IN MOTION.
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE POWER CORD FROM THE
RECEPTACLE BEFORE CHANGING REMOVABLE OR
EXPENDABLE PARTS (BLADE, BIT, SANDING PAPER
ETC.), LUBRICATING OR WORKING ON THE UNIT.
WARNING!
To ensure safety and reliability, all repairs should be
performed by an AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER or
other QUALIFIED SERVICE ORGANIZATION.
