    First use − Only replace batteries with equivalent batteries or batteries of the same type. Do not use new and used batteries together.     Operation The CURRENT TEMP will steadily increase the lon- ger the food is barbecued until the target tempera- ture has been reached. Once the target temperature has been reached, the display indicator (see fig. D) will switch to the alarm function, the display will turn red and flash.
