10.3.4 Block Mode
When the BLACKLIST ON/OFF function is set ON, there are two options
for BLOCK MODE:
CID/TAM ON ‐ when you receive a call from a BLACKLIST
number, your phone will not ring, but the display backlight
will turn on and show the calling number, and the
answering machine will answer the call after its set number
of rings if it is turned on.
CID/TAM OFF ‐ when you receive a call from a BLACKLIST
number, your phone will not ring, the display backlight will
not turn on or show the calling number, and the answering
machine will not answer the call.
Warning: The phone will give no indication that there is an
incoming call, so if you pick up the handset to make a call
you may answer a Blacklist call.

11 ANSWERING MACHINE
Your phone includes a telephone answering machine that records
unanswered calls when it is on.
The answering machine can store up to 59 messages within the
maximum recording time of approximately 30 minutes and each
message can be up to 3 minutes long.
When the answering machine is on, calls are answered after the set
RING DELAY.
If you have selected RECORD MSGS, then the caller can leave you a
message after hearing your announcement.
If you have selected ANSWER ONLY mode, the caller can only listen to
your announcement but cannot leave you a message.
If the answering machine memory is full, the answering machine
LED on the base flashes rapidly, the answering machine icon on the
handset flashes slowly, and the ANSWER ONLY announcement will
be played to new callers. You will have to delete some messages
before any new ones can be recorded.
