- Page 10 Operating Positioning Carry out the steps described below for both tripods: Unfold the legs of the tripod until the cross braces are in a horizontal position. Fix this position with the safety bolt on the carriage to which the three feet are attached. Pull out the safety pin and loosen the safety bolt on the extension tube.
