1. Explanation of warning symbols and notes

Risk of electric shock
This symbol indicates a risk of electric shock from
touching product parts carrying hazardous voltage.
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to
draw your attention to specific hazards and risks.
Note
This symbol is used to indicate additional information or
important notes.

2. Explanation of symbols used on the product label

Electrical device of safety class II.
Protection against electric shock thanks to
reinforced or double insulation of live parts.
The product must only be used with alternating
current.

4. Safety instructions

• The product is intended for private, non-commercial use
only.
• The product is intended only for use inside buildings.
• Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating
and use it in dry rooms only.
• As with all electrical products, this device should be kept
out of the reach of children.
• Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be carried out by children
without supervision.
• Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
• Do not operate the product outside the power limits
specified in the technical data.
• Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children
due to the risk of suffocation.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately in
accordance with the locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the device in any way. Doing so voids the
warranty.
• Do not place any objects on the device and never use it
as a resting surface.
Risk of electric shock
• Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it
becomes damaged.

AC adapter, the adapter cable or the mains cable are
damaged.

5. General notes on use

Operating instructions
• If a choice from various buttons is to be made (such
as Yes or No), the button currently selected is
indicated with < >.
• In menus offering a variety of different options (such
as DRC, Language and so on), the currently selected
option is marked with *.

5.1 Switch On / Off / Standby

• Press [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] to switch the radio
on.
• Press and hold [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] for 3
seconds to switch the radio off (standby).
Note
To switch the radio off completely, disconnect it from the
power supply.
