To fix a broken chain link on the ErgoPack 700X with half the chain stuck in the unit:
1. Pull out the remaining strap from the strapping system through the head piece and dispose of it. 2. Set the pallet width on the display to 1 meter and drive out the ChainLance until about 60 cm of chain stands upward. 3. Switch off the system by pressing the OFF button and disconnect the power cable from the battery pack. 4. Use a 5.5 mm screwdriver blade to insert between the wings of two chain links and carefully turn to separate them. 5. Manually push the ChainLance back into the strapping system until it fully exits the reversing sledge. 6. Turn the reversing sledge over and unscrew both screws of the length adjusting belt with a screwdriver.
