Prevención de incendios
Utilice siempre el altavoz como se indica en las
instrucciones. En el peor de los casos, un uso
inapropiado podría causar un incendio.
- No sitúe el altavoz cerca de llamas abier-
tas, como p. ej. velas.
- Asegúrese de que el altavoz tenga una ven-
tilación suficiente.
- No sitúe el altavoz bajo el sol ni lo exponga
a la luz solar directa.
- No cubra el dispositivo con objetos, como
p. ej. folletos, mantas o cortinas. Esto puede
reducir también la vida útil del altavoz.
Sobretensión
Los rayos pueden causar sobretensiones y
dañar el altavoz. Por este motivo, desenchufe
siempre el cable de alimentación en caso de
tormenta. Si no va a utilizar el altavoz duran-
te un tiempo prolongado (p. ej., vacaciones),
desenchufe el cable de alimentación de la
toma de corriente.
Limpieza del altavoz
Para limpiar el altavoz, utilice solo un paño
ligeramente humedecido. No utilice en ningún
caso productos de limpieza agresivos ni disol-
ventes, gasolina, alcohol o similares.
Evitar la humedad
Evite utilizar el altavoz durante periodos pro-
longados en espacios o entornos húmedos. La
humedad puede penetrar en el dispositivo y
dañar los componentes electrónicos, y esto in-
valida la garantía.
Safety
Avoiding the risk of fire
Always use the speaker according to the inst-
ructions. In the worst-case scenario, improper
use of the device could cause a fire.
- Do not place the speaker near naked
flames, e.g. candles.
- Make sure that there is sufficient air supply
for the speaker
- Do not place the speaker in the sun and do
not expose it to direct sunlight.
- Never cover the device with objects, e.g.
brochures, blankets or curtains. This could
also impact the service life of the speaker.
Power surge
Lightning strikes can lead to power surges
and damage the speaker. You should there-
fore alway disconnect the mains plug during
a thunderstorm. If you are going to leave the
speaker unattended for a long period of time
(e.g. holiday), you should also disconnect the
speaker from the power supply by removing
the mains plug.
Cleaning the speaker
Use only a slightly damp cloth to clean the spe-
aker. Do not use harsh cleaning agents or thin-
ners, petrol, spirits or anything similar.
Avoiding moisture
Avoid operating the speaker for prolonged
periods in damp rooms or surroundings. Mois-
ture entering the device can adversely affect
the electronics and could render the warranty
void.
