Wi-Fi Mode / Camera App
First, install the app on your smartphone. Look for „YUTUPRO" in the AppStore or Google Play
Store. After installation, you need to activate the Wi-Fi [ ] of your camera via the speed-
WIFI
dial menu (fast touch movement downwards). Connect the camera to your smartphone (find
a network with the name displayed on the camera e.g. „4K Sports DV". Use the password
„12345678". Start the action camera app now.
H.264/H.265 Video compression
You can set the video compression for each mode individually. You can choose from H.264
(highest compatibility) and H.265 (smallest file size).
H.265, also known as High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC), is a video compression standard
that allows you to capture high-quality video (e.g., 4K @ 30fps / 1080p @ 240fps) at the same
file quality, but with half the file size.
Requirements for playing H.265 compressed videos
• Windows 10 or MacOS High Sierra
• PC or MAC with processors from 2016 or later
Note: Older hardware without HEVC decoding may struggle with H.265 playback.
In case you can not play H.265 videos without problems, you can convert the videos to another
format (e.g. with the free program „Handbrake") or upload your videos on a video platform (e.g.
Youtube or Vimeo).
