Troubleshooting

Fault
Device cannot be switched on
Plotter does not react to data sent by the
PC.
The plotter starts up, but labelling is not
created.
Poor printing, uneven line thickness,
missing parts of labels
1) Only use the detergents specified as accessories (see Chapter 10).

If there is a fault that cannot be remedied
using the measures described above,
please contact the Weidmüller Service
Department.

Possible cause
Power supply not connected
No power supply
Power pack faulty (green LED on power pack
does not light up even though the power supply
is connected)
USB cable not connected properly
Device driver not correctly installed
Plotter pen dried out
Plotter pen empty
Contamination on plotter tip
Recommended action
Check that the power pack is connected to the
plotter and to the power supply.
Have the socket checked by an electrician.
If necessary, switch to another socket.
Replace the mains power pack.
Check that the USB cable is properly connected
to the plotter and the PC.
If necessary, replace the data cable.
Check whether the device driver is installed on
the PC.
If necessary, install the device driver.
If necessary, remove the plotter pen from the
pen holder and clean the tip carefully with a
cloth dipped in cleaning fluid
