If a child must be carried on the front
seat in rearward facing child restraint
system, the passenger side front airbag
and front side bag for pelvis, chest
and shoulder protection must be
deactivated (for versions/markets,
where provided).
Airbag deactivation procedure
Proceed as follows, using the display
Setup Menu:
❒ press the
button and, after the
message "Bag pass: Off" (to deactivate)
or "Bag pass: On" (to activate) is
displayed by pressing buttons
